The availability of the additional resource enables Menangle to diversify its product range and once again become Sydney’s first option for Sportsfield Construction, Topdressing, Golf and Bowling green, Turf Underlay and Garden Mix products.
Benedict’s Group Sales & Distribution Manager, David Connor is excited to announce that the full landscaping product range is once again available in the marketplace. “It’s been a long time coming, we are once again able to offer our full range of landscape product options for any given project in the Sydney basin and beyond. With unlimited volumes of alluvial blends to meet any Sportsfield, Golf Course or Bowling Green product requirement, we’re ready to go when you are. Specifically, Benedict Sand Menangle has recently re-introduced their SmartMix1 – Turf Rootzone Mix, Golf 9010 and Bowling blend products. These additions, alongside Menangle’s existing diverse product range will ensure Benedict can offer their customers a complete range of products for any project that they may be involved in.

Benedict carries out internal and external testing on all their landscaping products, ensuring they are not only fit for the intended purpose but also comply with the highest industry standards. This significant investment in product quality assurance testing ensures that customers, engineers and architects can request recent product documentation to verify that Benedict products meet the requirements for their projects. Utilising several external laboratories, including SESL and Civil Test, Benedict offer quick turn around times for project specific testing, to assure approval of our products before importation.
Benedict Sands Menangle also uses several recycled inputs to ensure we extend the lifespan of the valuable alluvial resource. Any product that has a recycled component is stringently tested to assure compliance with the relevant EPA Recovery Order, before being approved for sale.
All materials whether quarried, recycled or a blend of the two come with a “Environmental Statement of Compliance” assuring our customers that Benedict products are a safe choice. In addition to the Menangle Quarry, Benedict also operate quarries in Sandy Point, Appin, Mittagong and Cowra. These quarries have various geological resources including alluvial sandy loams, sandstone, clay, shale and quartz based sand and aggregates.
